Being selected as the official artist for the FIFA World Cup Miami 2026 poster is an honor that feels both surreal and deeply personal. Miami is more than just a place I live—it’s the city I chose to call home. This artwork is my love letter to Miami, a visual celebration of its soul, energy, and spirit.

In creating this poster, my goal was to design an image that instantly connects with Miami’s vibrant essence. At its heart stands the flamingo—an iconic symbol of the city—framed by bold Art Deco elements that reflect its unique style and history.
The scene unfolds in three layers: the ocean and beaches in the front, the Art Deco district in the middle, and the modern skyline in the back—capturing Miami’s natural beauty, cultural roots, and forward momentum.

The soccer ball in the sky is made up of pentagons and hexagons, each representing a neighborhood that shapes Miami’s identity—Little Havana, South Beach, Coral Gables, Wynwood, and more.
This poster reflects Miami’s energy, its love of soccer, and how sports and culture bring people together. It’s a celebration of a city that opens its arms to the world.
